She participated in their college prep course over the summer and found it so helpful that we hired her coach through Successful Study Skills for her first semester in college. I have been working with Michelle and team over at Successful Study Skills 4 Students over a year now. They are so easy to work with when it comes to scheduling programs. They provide everything for you and at no fee which is great for public libraries with limited budgets. Michelle is wonderful to work with and gets back to emails quickly and consistently. Their content is all digital and offered in the evenings which helps out busy students and parents to attend if they have afterschool obligations. Overall, I enjoy working with them and look forward to doing so each and every time.

I can't express enough how grateful we are to the exemplary academic and executive functioning support from Successful Sturdy Skills 4 Students since my son started his freshman year in college.We are extremely lucky to work with Kam, who is highly competent and keenly attuned to support/strengthen the particular areas of weakness of my son's study skills. Even more impressively, Kam is sensitive to his emotional state and fully understands how positive reinforcement and encouragement goes a long way to make him more able to use his coping skills, stay calm and focused.After a stressful first month in college, my son is now able to handle much heavier workload while taking care of his social-emotional well-being. I know we couldn't have done it without Kam and S4's well-designed curriculum centered around a neurodivergent learner like my son!I wholeheartedly recommend S4 to any parent who has been searching for a solution which delivers results and success!

Successful Study Skills 4 Students, LLC have been conducting parent webinars for our library for over three years. They provide great tips for helping children and teens succeed in school. They also provide ways on how parents/guardians can help and interact with their children to help ensure their success. The presenters have always been knowledgeable and have taken the time to answer any questions from the viewers. Our attendees of their webinars have provided positive feedback and they feel motivated to start using techniques presented to them.

Michelle makes it easy to work with our schedule and the online format makes it easy for people to attend. My sophomore has been very happy with her algebra tutor! She was starting to struggle a little bit because she felt that the teacher she has in school this year did not have strong teaching skills, and so I reached out Successful Study Skills 4 Students to see if they could help out. Michelle recommended Crystal as a tutor and she has been fantastic. I can definitely tell the difference because my sophomore is now a lot more confident when it comes to algebra. Highly recommend!

My son was struggling with organization and focus during his first year of high school. S4 provided someone who is currently a teacher to both serve as a tutor, study/school skills coach and mentor. My son has a great relationship with her and it’s taken some stress out of our relationship with our son so we don’t have to constantly remind him to do homework/study. Study skills have been especially helpful.

My high school junior has made huge progress with executive function skills working one-on-one with her tutor. We thought we might sign up for a month or two to learn a good study system, but my daughter requested to continue, saying these sessions are the biggest factor in her success with her course load this year. She is learning to manage her time and she is learning quite a bit about managing her triggers for procrastination. We know the support she is receiving now will help her going forward through high school and college. We are so glad to have signed up for one-on-one executive function tutoring!

The difference in my son’s confidence after taking this course was significant. He loved the test prep and the planning and organization training. He does all his work without us getting involved and he plans everyday when he will get his homework done. In the first couple months, he is tracking with all A’s and is completely engaged.

My son just completed a 3-day study skills workshop for middle school students and took away some important skills while having fun in the process. He mentioned that the sessions were all very well run, and the instructor did a wonderful job of keeping the class under control and motivated. He came home excited to share how to make mind maps, modified flash cards, use a planner, and organize class notes to prepare for tests. He is already applying the skills he learned to his first science test of the year! I personally sat in on a few minutes of each workshop and fully agree with my son’s assessment. The workshop teaches skills the kids don’t learn in school. I will definitely be sending my younger son to the same class when the time comes. Highly recommended for all students!

S4 Study Skills Program was terrific, and the additional resources provided by the program are also very beneficial. As a parent with two boys diagnosed with ADHD, knowing where to find the help and extra support they need is half the battle. Thankfully, the program Michelle developed not only helped my children establish the foundation necessary for effective learning, but the organization also provides additional support if one or both of my boys needs extra help now or in the future. Successful Study Skills has been a wonderful experience for our family. Not only did we find a fantastic tutor who has been an incredible support for our daughter; Michelle has been extremely responsive, and has gone above and beyond to find the right person to work with our family. Elyssa is spectacular, and has made extra time to help our daughter when she has had upcoming tests, and her patience and outstanding abilities have not only helped our daughter have a better understanding of the material, but her work has made her feel more confidence and less anxious about her school. We have had a great experience with the team at Successful Study Skills 4 Students. They were very accommodating with taking the time to discuss our son's situation and walking us through every detail before we decided to commit. My son has gained a good deal of confidence through his lessons and we find that he has better motivation and desire for learning. I know that kids can only listen to parents for so long before they tune us out (especially teenagers!). Our son definitely appreciates that he has someone else to talk with about learning which takes the pressure off us as a family to achieve the goals we have set together. He also likes that this isn't the teacher who is grading him so he can be more open about his insecurities. He also receives lots of positive feedback and enthusiasm which helps to keep him engaged. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

The team at Successful Study Skills 4 Students is a joy to work with. As everyone's situation is unique, they were more than happy to answer my questions and provide proper guidance. My sons experience was a positive one. He is your regular old, lackadaisical teenager. Getting him to find an effective and successful strategy to approach school has always been and issue. During his workshop, he would come to me in excitement and explain what he learned that day. He would describe how much fun the staff was. Which to me is a testament to how well they can effectively engage with the students. Post workshop, where it's now time for the rubber to hit the pavement, my son entered the year absolutely energized. Lots of positive feedback and enthusiasm. It looks like we finally flipped the switch here, thanks for Successful Study Skills 4 Students and I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

Successful Study Skill 4 Students has been a life saver for my son and our family. At the beginning of the school year my 7th grade son could not get organized, stay focused and be engaged with virtual school. It was taking a toll on our entire family and we spent more time arguing and less time just enjoying each other. Now, with the help of Maddy, he manages his own study schedule, creates his own study guides, gets his work done ahead of time and turned in on time, participates in class and feels way more confident and engaged. Successful Study Skills 4 Students has given my son the right set of tools to finally be successful in school. We would have never thought he would be getting straight A's with no stress, no fighting and no tears.

I would highly recommend S4 to any family that has children who are not typical learners or who need assistance in learning time management skills and managing assignments. My youngest has greatly benefited from her sessions with Kam and Louie. She is on the ADHD spectrum and, under their tutelage, she is developing the skills and techniques needed to keep herself on track with her high school assignments. Importantly, Kam and Louie hold her accountable for completing assignments. They have become trusted, non-parent resources for school work for my daughter.

Both of my teenage daughters have benefited greatly since we started working with S4 2 years ago. They were initially resistant but now they not only look forward to their sessions with Elyssa, they proactively request extra sessions. Elyssa has taught them how to plan ahead and break down their homework/studying into more manageable pieces - reducing their and our stress. Our boys have loved working with the tutors at S4! We have an eighth grader and a sophomore in high school and both were having a hard time with remote learning during the Pandemic. My younger son has improved his writing a great deal. After each of his sessions, he proudly reads to me the writing he has completed with his tutor’s guidance. My older son has really benefitted from S4’s coaching on how to study, how to plan out longer term projects and how to better understand and review difficult topics in math. Both boys are grateful to have the help they needed after a challenging academic year.

S4 has been a lifesaver for our family. They have allowed my husband and I to go back to being parents and relinquish the role of educator or tutor. Once they began working with Kam, we saw a tremendous gain in their ability to manage their workload. Our teenage children require different learning styles, and Kam has been able to accommodate both of them. Michelle, the President, has been consistently available. My daughter is a junior in high school and was struggling with math and other classes since Covid. We signed her up with SSS4 and within a couple weeks she has turned her grades around. We decided to work with S4 because of the approach outlined by Michelle in an initial webinar and follow up discussion. Our son needed more than just tutoring, he needed help in discovering and engaging his own motivation to work.Our son has been working with Kam for about three months, and the change we’ve seen in him has been impressive. Forget the grades—which are better—he takes more accountability for his work and his engagement with his teachers. Kam does indeed help him with homework and projects. However, he also demands that our son complete assignments between sessions, communicate with teachers, and organize his own work. In addition, Kam has collaborated effectively with teachers and especially our son’s counselor.Certainly, not everything is perfect now. However, our son is in a far different place. As we told Michelle “he’s a different young man now.”

SSS4 has been wonderful for our son. The tutors have been so attentive to his particular needs, and maybe as important as anything they have inspired him to WANT to succeed. We have a great school district, but we can't imagine our son getting the same kind of experience without SSS4. His report card just came back with straight A's!!
